On skin:
Warm a small amount between your palms until it melts, then apply directly to dry areas. Best used after a shower while skin is still slightly damp to lock in moisture
On hair:
Work a small amount through dry or damp hair, focusing on the ends and any dry sections. Can also be used as a scalp treatment. Massage in, leave for 30 minutes, then wash out.
As a DIY base:
Melt gently using a double boiler and combine with your choice of oils or butters to create your own body butter or skincare formulation.
A little goes a long way. Start with a small amount and build up as needed.

I recently tried this Shea butter for my 8 month old daughter’s dry patches, and I’m really impressed with the results. Her skin was quite rough and flaky in certain areas, but after just a few days of consistent use, I noticed a big improvement.
